Hello friends of old and new, welcome back to another weekly showcase. It's getting cold and dark, and a little depressing out there. Look after yourself. I can't help you maintain your mental strength, but I can help you with some artistic inspiration, courtesy of these four wonderful artists.
Kicking things off for us today is a beautiful little LotR scene provided by Francesco. This artist is always coming up with fantastic varied paint jobs, and it's always a joy seeing what they come up with. However, this piece just has such an atmospheric feel to it, though the painting and the incredibly realistic mini diorama. Seriously, look at those steps and the fallen leaves. It's truly a beautiful piece, which wouldn't look out of place on the mantelpiece of an estranged billionaire, who made their wealth selling ornate pipes. If you like variety, atmosphere and talent, you really should grand check out Francesco's page!
Up next is Sam with this really cool freaky little alien bug thing. I do like some of the new Tyranid sculpts, but I often don't like how uninteresting a lot of the paint schemes I see for them are. This is not the case here, with one of the more original schemes I've come across for these guys. Sporting the colours of an angry hornet, this guy looks right at home. The paint job behind it is super clean, so nothing is lost in translation. Ultimately, jungle themed Tyranids trumps all, and you should check out Same's page if you agree!
We've got some reptile goodness for you now, courtesy of Matt. I seldom see a paint scheme I don't like for Seraphon, but most are bright and vibrant. I love this scheme for the fact it connotes a much more spooky pale and sickly vibe than usual. With the albino skin for the seer, and the dark greys, purples and greens for his throne, it gives these blue blooded dudes some moody atmosphere. Like they've all simultaneously become the rebellious emo children of the lizard world. Really great stuff and if you'd like to see more, go to Matt's page!

Finally, we've got another outlandishly vibrant take on Nurgle for you. We had a similar paintjob featured a few weeks ago, and I loved both the style and choice of colours. Well it's the same case here, and Jacek proves that Nurgle should be colourful and not sickly. Every choice of colour used perfectly compliments one another, and the contrast of the yellows to the blues is beautiful. Whilst being super vibrant, it never loses the feeing that this is a puss ridden being, who probably could do with a wash. Go do something smart today, and check Jacek's page out!
That's all for today. Such a shame I know, but at least you can now sit there and count every single second until the next one. That will be a thrilling 604,800 seconds for you.
