Welcome back to another week of showcases. We'll just jump right in and have a look shall we? Unless you want me to draw it out a little, create a bit of suspense and all that jazz. Just mutter on with useless dialogue until I've created enough of an introduction to feel happy with the size of this paragraph. Yes, I've now done just that, so let's begin!
First up today is this exceptionally gross and bare troll from Arilla. I've never seen a paintjob applied so beautifully, that's made me wish I hadn't seen it at all. The colour composition, the crispness, right down to the basing; this is truly a wonderful piece of art from a very talented artist. I can even hear this little old troll exclaiming in a smokers voice "my eyes are up here!". Well, maybe next time, put on some cloth before you come barging out your little troll house baring all. Do yourself a favour and check out Arilla's page to see more of her work!

I love crabs. There, I said it. Now you know. So it was truly a joy to come across this fella. Adrian has chosen to paint his crab in a beautifully starry colour scheme, and I'm a massive fan. The ridiculous amount of detail through the dotting, and the blending of blues and purples is a wonderful feat of talent, given how small this little crab is. The side angle was the best way to show off this paint job, but every angle of this crab is a spectacle to behold. Go and have a look for yourself at Adrian's page for more crab action!

I was hard pressed in choosing the specific paintjob I wanted to show off for Stephanie, as I'm in love her painting style objectively. But her take on this happy chappy is the best I've seen, so here we are. Her skill in blending and highlighting, giving off a charming old school painting/cartoony feel is truly unique and works perfectly for this kind of miniature. The cloak doesn't really even look real! But it is the skulls for me that take the biscuit, looking like they've been ripped right out of an oil painting. Such a large amount of talent, on such a small surface, and most certainly inspires me to become better. Please check out Stephanie's page to give yourself some inspiration too!

To finish off this week's showcase, we've got a beautifully classy paintjob from Albert. Let alone the fact that I think this model looks a little bit intimidating to truly do it justice, I'm in awe of how silky smooth this miniature looks. The exceptional blending between the lightest and darkest points of the blue on his weird little wave cape, to the delightful shade of red on his headdress; this paintjob is a real treat on the eyes. It's made me want to pick up this model and try to paint something equally as pretty, and that's why I love seeing others work; to punish my wallet more. If you'd like to also punish yours, then have a gander at Abert's page.
That will wrap up this week's showcase! I hope you've enjoyed what you've seen here and go on to have a look at the artists featured today, as they all deserve your time. We're starting to accrue quite the collection of artists and artworks now; maybe I'll have to create some sort of collage, spelling out a ransom note using the frames of each picture. So make sure you have a look at the artists featured here and previously, or that ransom note will be coming for you.
If you would like to be featured in the future, then please get in contact via plasticpreacher@gmail.com or @plasticpreacher on Instagram.
Have a good one!
