Pinch, punch, start of the month, here's another weekly showcase to drool over. If you strangely lack saliva glands, then maybe you could shed a few tears instead. If you're even more unfortunate to also lack tear ducts, then well I'm sorry. Maybe the following artists can improve your day by providing you with some inspiration?
Enoki kicks off May's first showcase, with her beautiful take on the Lumineth. Using a lovely pastel purple palette, Enoki masterfully captures the ethereal atmosphere of this sculpt. The end result is a striking image sure to leave a fissure in your retinas. A good fissure of course. I really love the work gone into creating a contrast via the green basing work too, allowing a subtle blend of colours to accentuate the overall paint job, without taking away from the model itself. Really cool stuff and more to be found on Enoki's page!
Next up is Taylor and her take on this ghoulish sculpt. Electing to go for a pale and sickly blue flesh tone, the sickly and creepy atmosphere these guys deserve has been pulled off successfully, showcasing how well they suit a blue toned skin. This allows for a wonderful contrast of the pink sinewy areas, as well as the vibrant gold of the armour. I can't be too sure, but it looks a lot like NMM work gone into the metal, so extra points for that. Make sure you go check out Taylors page for more!
Sam graces our eyes next, with his colourful take on this obviously sweet old man. Most paint schemes for this sculpt end up being very drab and gritty, so it's a real treat to see this one. Sam has masterfully achieved an awesome atmosphere on his paintob, by creating a green lighting that affects every part of the model. This in turn is what creates a subtly colourful finish on an otherwise suitably grounded model. Really cool stuff and more to be found over on Sam's page!

Finishing things for us all today is Groic, with a second Flesh Eater model for today! I love Groic's work on this little guy, going for a very traditionally ghoulish and sickly colour scheme. He has expertly acheived a fantastically clean end result, courtesy of his brush control and smooth blending skills. Taking this further with some pretty awesome highlighting work, has allowed all of the tiny details to pop, creating yet another striking piece for all to enjoy. If you did indeed enjoy it, check out Groic's page for more work!
That's it for this week, I hope you throguhouly enjoyed the four pieces of art that the featured artists very kindly allowed to be showcased. Make sure you thank them properly by checking out their pages so you can stay in the loop with all of their future work!
