We really must stop meeting like this. People are gonna start to talk... Which is exactly what we want! Let's all talk more and share more; that way, more of these exceptional artists will be seen by more, and the great goodness of miniature painting will be spread like a plague.

Today we start off with one of my favourite artists; Toni Garcia! I found his work early in my painting career, and have been inspired to be better ever since. Here we have his carnosaur in eye wateringly crispness. Every colour used has been applied with expert touch, blending seamlessly between tones and shades. The more muted colours of the dino itself, contrast against the blues of the throne in a very pleasing manner. Everything this guy paints pleases my little retinas, and if you check out his page, your's will be more than pleased too!
I have become a sucker for Tzeentch as of late, and I'm also rather partial to a good kitbash. Here, this artist has killed two birds with one stone...with one real big bird. Such a genius idea to take this model and transform it into a Lord of Change, I'm surprised I haven't seen anything similar before. The colour palette of Tzeentch is a beautiful one, and it has been applied here just as beautifully, with the bright colours contrasting against the grey base. If you'd like to be inspired like myself for some Tzeentch marvels, make sure you check out the rest of her stuff!

When I found this artist, I was in awe of how unique their painting style was. Mixing a cartoony style with grim undertones is a pretty tricky thing to do in my book, but it's been mastered here. It was tough picking a single picture to show this off, but as this particular one was the first I came across, it was only fitting to use it. Refreshing colours and a style like no other I have currently seen, I'm always eagerly awaiting their next piece. I implore you to check out this artist and all of their work to see for yourself.

The Stormcast are always a classic, so it's pleasing to come across a new colour scheme I haven't seen before on them. The blues and gold work perfectly off each other, with a crazy amount of work gone into the clean-ness of the paint job. Even seeing the picture in this small size is impressive, and that's how you know an artist is worth checking out. Please make sure you do so by checking out their page!
And there you have it. Another week, another showcase done. I hope you are enjoying these weekly showcases, and moreover, have discovered a new artist or piece of work that has got your old gears turning. To know that would in turn, get mine going too. Let's all get our gears turning together like some big open minded commune.
