Yes hello again, we're here with another weekly showcase to get your blood pumping and palms sweaty. If your palms are already sweaty, then please could you pat them down with a damp cloth before we begin. This is art we're dealing with here after all.

Getting the ball rolling today is this artist and their wonderful take on a pretty cool sculpt. Without the added banner in place of a shovel, this model is already really grim and atmospheric, which the paint job perfectly conveys. But my goodness, that banner has taken this piece of art to another level. Making a creepy sculpt into something actually quite scary, courtesy of that face. I'm not sure I'll be sleeping tonight. If you find yourself also not sleeping tonight, take the time to check out this artist for more amazing work!
We find ourselves looking at Tom's work now, with his Uruk-hai inspired Orc. I'm a massive fan of the colour scheme utilised here, as that skin tone truly is wonderful. It's hard to break away from conventional green skin, so I'm glad to see Tom absolutely succeeding in that. The armour work is dark and grimy which looks great on this model. And to have a little bit of pop, those charming and noble looking trousers are a great addition. Really like this take on this model, so make sure you check Tom's page out for more!

Next up is Oli and his Wight King. This model range takes me back to the nostalgic days of fantasy skeletons, so it's great to see the paint job working on that nosalgia. The cool, yet sickly greens contrasting the purple provides a beautiful palette for the eyes to enjoy. Whilst this picture doesn't properly show it, the work on the sword is fantastic, with the fine brush work creating texture. You need to make sure you check out Oli's page to see it and much more!
Finally we reach our final artist of the day, treating us all to this wonderful undead gorilla. I love how bright and vibrant the painting style has come out, despite not using vibrant colours. Upon closer inspection, it's clear that is down to the amazing brush control on the blending and highlights, that provide a painting style full of character. I really am a fan of the pastel like colours, and the rest of this war band look beautiful all together. Go and spend some time checking out this artist's page!
And that will be it for this week. I hope you enjoyed all the art on show here today, and it has got you geared up and full of inspiration to tackle that painting obstacle that's been silently mocking you from the corner of your room. Make sure to show your thanks to the artists featured here by checking out their pages for further inspiration.
