Bonjour, aloha and welcome to another weekly showcase. We've predictably got a few more artists and their respective pieces to have a look at today, so how about you start preparing your eyeballs for the visual treat you're about to feed them, and I'll get cracking.
First up we've got this pretty spectacular piece from Sergio. It was his entry to Golden Demon, of which he won gold. Can you argue with that? I certainly can't, and won't. The colour composition is very appealing, with expert painting skills on the skin of the big ol' squig. The saliva from it's tongue is masterfully subtle, finished off with thematic basing created perfectly. To top if all off, that poor little human running for his life captures the pace of this piece in an inspirational way. Please do yourself many favours by checking Sergio's page out!

I like a lot of what I see from this artist, and their use of colours. This particular piece is no different, and is one I haven't seen painted very much. I love the use of blending between the pinks and blues, making it feel weirdly warm and cold at the same time. The mirror has been painted with real skill, with the gem set above it possibly being my favourite part. Just real wholesome complimentary colours here, and that puts a smile on my face. If you fancy getting weirded out by talent, then you need to go make sure you check out this artists page!

Leah has a pretty distinct style to her painting, arguably the most stubborn painter of purple I've ever seen? Well it's a good job she does purple well then, and this little piece is no different. The best part is the cosmos inspired glass, with it's beautiful green hue to balance against the purple. I'd love to see that effect used some more. If you like purple and deathly things, you must check Leah's page out!

I think I'm starting to develop a weird fetish for nighthaunt, draped in their grandma's table cloth. Sam has made sure to get my gears going with his piece here, taking what is ordinarily, a pretty muted model, and made it most definitely not that. How many boney men have you seen not wearing black? That's what I thought. They just look so sweet wearing colourful garments, I would definitely adopt one and feed him slices of feta all night long. Sam has a real vibrant and classic style to his painting, of which you should check out his page if you'd like to see more!
That will be all for this week. I hope you have enjoyed looking at these wonderful artists and their creations this week, all with the knowledge that there will indeed be more next week. How exciting. Truly.
