Hey, how's it all going? Well? That's good, that's all I need to hear. Today we've got some more artists and their paintjobs to have a look at, so let's get looking.
We start off today with this kind hearted looking troggoth. Timo is a pretty exceptional artist, and all of his Gloomspite look really cool. But I have singled out this large fella, mainly because of how suspiciously cute his little face is. He looks like he's been caught right in the act, after being told to leave that rock alone for the fifth and final time. His troggoth mother isn't particularly happy with him, just wait till father troggoth gets home and brandishes his belt. That's what I love about this paintjob; the fact that the way his face has been painted, has caused that whole story. I really advise you to check out Timo's page to have a look at the rest of his Gloomspite!
2) @hexandbacon
Now we've got this pretty cool paintjob to run our eyes over. This artist mainly attacks warbands, so was hard picking which one to display, but Slaanesh wins today. Big fan of how bright colours have been placed alongside the metallics in a way that still gives of this cool and dark vibe. I also love the little cacti and basing in general, which looks lovely against the model. This artist is pretty new to the scene, but already impressing with their work, so check them out before they're too big and famous for you!
3) @spenspainting
Let's have a look at how beautiful these prehistoric dudes are. Spencer normally paints 40k in a realistic grimy way, so it's great to see him take on something completely different. And boy did he succeed; the colour scheme is fantastic and I love how he has still incorporated his 'dirty' style, showing the chicken-esque mount to be kicking up dirt and dust. I will always be a sucker for realistic painting styles, and spencer is a master at just that. I advise you to be smart here, and check out his page for more realistic goodness!
4) @ky8306le_hobby
I've been in love with this model since first laying my mortal eyes upon it, and this paint job has done it all the puss filled justice anyone could want. Kyle has a pretty unique painting style, merging old school cartoony retroness, with modern techniques. His take on Nurgle really benefit from this, and as such, all of them look great. His highlighting and attention to detailing is superb, and always makes for great viewing pleasure. Please go and have a look at how infectiously good the rest of his Nurgle looks on his page!
And with that, we now say goodbye for another week. These blogs take a good amount of time to create, through speaking to each individual artist to get their permission, and then compiling it all together. I'd love to get some help in the form of sending me some of your favourite artists and paintjobs you've seen. Then we can all sit around the campfire singing 'kumbaya' and holding hands.
