Well hello and welcome back to another week of existence. If you're trying to decide whether it's worth it, here's another weekly showcase to make you glad you still draw breath.

Kicking things off for us today is Johnny with this pretty horrible looking alien freak. Definitely not the kind of thing i'd like to share a room with, though with increasing rent costs, it might be the safer option. The paintjob here does the model all sorts of justice, with the contrast between the reds and blues picking out all the gross little details. A lot of time went into the highlighting, as well as the expert job on making those wings look so real. A proper decent job, and there's much more to be found over at Johnny's page!
I was a big fan of the original kroxigor, so you can imagine my joy at seeing the new updated models. Mark clearly feels the same, and has painted up one of the new models in a pretty cool unique colour scheme. He has chosen to paint a cold and almost albino scheme that works wonders for the model, as well as the excellent use of resin for the basing. It also looks like he's employed NMM on the tiny metal details on this model, and that deserves at least 7 seconds of standing ovation. Go applaud him over at his page!
This artist has created some really cool paintjobs, with clearly a cool taste in models on the darker side of things. I would have to say their sylvaneth is my favourite, and is what originally made me aware of the tree faring folk. The model we're showcasing today was actually their first time attempting OSL, and what a resounding success it was. It's always a difficult thing to pull off, but here it has been expertly achieved, showing off that cold icy magical bow in all it's glory. go have a look at this artist's other paintjobs via their page!
Closing things off for us today, is this wonderful scenic looking Gandalf. It's been a little while since we've featured a LOTR miniature, and I guess that's simply because I haven't come across many recently. Well luckily for all of us, I've found this artist. They manage to do every single miniature the justice it deserves, merging classic painting styles with advanced basing; each creation is a wonder for the eyes. Other than the pure nostalgia this paintjob gives me, I love the originality of the branches. Please go check out this artists page to see what I'm talking about!
Another showcase concluded. We've got quite the portfolio of paintjobs (I'm copywriting that so don't you dare) so I hope you've seen something you like. Oh who am I kidding, of course you have! I just hope your little heart can take the wait until next week for the next showcase.
If you would like to be featured in the future, then please get in contact via plasticpreacher@gmail.com or @plasticpreacher on Instagram.
See ya!
