Hello again, and a warm welcome to both you and the month of February. We'll get stuck right in to the offerings kindly provided by the four following artists.
First up today is a rather cool and smart paint job on some 30K that I don't think I've ever featured before. I generally don't find big vehicles overly interesting, but I adore the shade of green used here. The dark colour scheme of green and black tones still provides some vibrancy where you can spot all the little detailing with the decals and panel work. I also love the dirty and weathered look achieved on the tank tread, with the orange and brown tones contrasting against the green. Great work and more to be found on this artist's page!

Next is a cool converted piece for you all to feast your little eyes on. This artist has taken a Stormcast model, and turned it into a rather stocky bretonnian knight. Using a mixture of pre made parts, as well as green stuff, this artist has ensured their creation looks organic and fitting. I do really love the idea of converting models to be one of a kind and unique to you. This artist clearly feels the same, as going through their page, you'll find they pretty much convert everything to some degree! Go and have a look to see the unique miniature's they're making!
Up next is a reminder that Space Marines still exist (in case you had somehow forgotten). The colour used for the armour is so pretty, and much more favourable to the ultra marine blue you see so much of. The artist has also employed an OSL effect from the plasma pistol, which the red hues look great against the blue of the armour. The basing work is awesome too, creating a very wet and mossy looking environment; in fact I can almost smell it from here. The fact this artist has caused that reaction is a plus in my book, so go check them out!

Nikolas is closing the show today, with his wonderful scary tree man. I'm a big fan of Sylvaneth models, despite never painting them, and I must say I love this colour scheme. I think the sickly pale pink tones, alongside the blues create an eery atmosphere, rather than an 'in your face' nature vibe. They provide a really lovely pop of colour that would otherwise be missing with the earthy tones. It's certainly inspiring me to finally tackle one of these guys. If you've also been inspired, go check out Nikolas' page for more!
And that'll be all for our first showcase of February. I hope you enjoyed the paint jobs on offer, and go and check out the artists responsible for them, as they most certainly deserve it. Big thanks to them for allowing me to feature them, and big thanks to you for reading!

See you next week!
That tank is so pretty! Orange and green is one of my favourite colour combos and Road_to_terra has used them with real subtlety and skill.
