Welcome to the first showcase of August! You made it, another month you can tick off. And as a reward, here are some fantastic piece of miniature art for you to run your eyes over.
1) @th_miniatures
Starting off with a bang, we've got Tymoteusz and their beautifully painted group of Tzeentch denizens. If you've read a few of these, you'll know I love Tzeentch by now, so obviously I was going to love these guys. They look like the kind of group that hangs out in Wetherspoons, drinking wine for breakfast, and I for one would love to join them. The paintjob in question perfectly encapsulates the look and feel of Tzeentch, with the blending between the blues and pinks doing wonders for my lucky little retinas. Do yourself a solid, and check this artist out!
2) @askminiatures
Up next is this classic Stormcast, looking all grim and spooky. This artist has a wonderfully gritty painting style, with a whole host of great paintjobs and interesting colour schemes, but I've picked this one as it's the first I came across! They have managed to successfully paint this in NMM, which is always an achievement in itself. Paired alongside that gritty painting style, this is a truly cool and eerie piece. really recommend checking out this artist and the rest of their work!
3) @modernsynthesist
If there was ever an artist that wanted to fill me with 80's goodness, this is the one. I should clarify, I mean in colours, and not in debauchery. With a name like that, I would expect nothing less! This artist has absolutely nailed their colour scheme for all their little alien bug freaks, giving me all sorts of synth wave vibes. And as a lover of everything that represents, I have no choice but to love this scheme. If you'd like to see the rest of this scheme across more models (and I promise you do) then please go and check this artist out!
4) @coderevenge
I feel like this isn't the first time I've had a Stormcast model wrapping these showcases up, and you know what? It's not gonna be the last, so just back off. The paintjob in question here is probably the cleanest and most impressive Stormcast we've looked at thus far! Alessandro has absolutely mastered the NMM style of painting, working perfectly for the armour of this angry looking dude. But perhaps the greatest part of this is the sparks of electricity emitting from his hand, hammer and eye. Something so small and subtle just takes the paintjob to the next level, simply creating an incredible piece of art that should be a source of inspiration for many! Go check out this artist's page!
That's it for this week folks! August has started off strong with these artists and their respective artworks, and I'm not sure my little heart can take the wait until next week. Let's hope it makes it, would be a shame to miss out on what will also inevitably be some amazing work!
