Hello again everyone, and welcomnback to the weekly showcase series, looking at all the wonderful artists and their respective artworks around the community, to help inspire you. Let's see what we've got for your beady little eyes to peruse today.

Simon is getting the ball rolling today, with his beautifully alternative Stormcast colour scheme. Given the new edition of AoS on it's impending way, this paint job feels very apt. So it's a great thing that it's honesty such a beautiful job! I absolutely adore the green/blue colour palette used here, and it really does suit these models so very much. The brush for to implement it is masterfully done, with such smooth blending of tones. And then the NMM work achieved here is so awesome, it's really making me think I need to start trying it out a little more. Please go check this artist's page out for more wonderful work!
Luke is up next with this impressively posed display like piece. I've always wanted to paint this model, and I think it acts as a great painting project. Luke thought so too, and has done a wonderful job at creating a really pretty piece of art. The contrasting colours of the green/blues against the gold/browns really elevate this paintjob to a lovely level. It is however the colours utilised on the base that draws my eyes and fills them with pleasure; just such a pretty and subtle blend of colours! Go check this artist out for more!
Up next we have Sophia and her beautifully blue offering for all of us today. A firm lover of Tzeentch is a good person in my book, so I'm glad to see the painting work does them justice! Ensuring the traditional blue comes through, Sophia still implements her saturated style of painting, bringing bright colours and vibrancy to every paintjob. These models deserve that treatment more than anyone, and it looks simply fantastic! A whole force of vibrant blues, pinks and golds would truly be a sight to behold! Make sure you go and check out Sophia's page for more art!
Finally, we have Rob and his man of Sigmar for us all to end on. I love Rob's custom scheme he has applied across his CoS paintjobs, bringing a lovely contrast of blue and burgundy to some arguably quite gritty sculpts. I think this choice in colour scheme alone makes the paintjob stand out from the crowd, but it's obviously the excellent brush control that provides the awesome finished product. If you're a fan of these colours, and those more grounded sculpts, you'll love Rob's work, so go and check out his page!
That's that for this week folks. My goodness there was a lot of blue there wasn't there!? I can promise you that was totally unintentional and doesn't represent how I may or may not be feeling today. Because let's face it, how could you be felling blue after being treated to these awesome and inspirational pieces of art? So go out there and paint something pretty for us all!
Maybe once you've done so, you could share you work with the rest of us on a future weekly showcase. If you'd like to, then please get in touch via here, plasticpreacher@gmail.com or @plasticpreacher via Instagram.
See you next week!
