Hello everyone, and here's another little look into the world of miniature painting, and a selection of the wonderful artists that inhabit it. Let's see if we can get your old dusty inspiration-less gears cranking again.
1) @warspiritus
First up, we've got quite the glorious looking paintjob on quite the glorious looking model. In no way does this look like a simple paintjob given the complexities of the sculpt, but it has been acheived wonderfully. Contrasting the red against bone, the palette is a treat for the eye, with the accent colour of the green fire providing the pop. I really like the gritty overall vibe of this, which lends perfectly to the gritty nature of the model. Obviously this picture can't do this elaborate paintjob any justice, so make sure you go and check out this artist's page to see in more detail.
2) @poisonrrivy
Ryan is here with our next paintjob to gawk at, with his beautifully colourful orc boy. I really am a fan of the saturated colours at play, with that lovely shade of yellow working wonders against the vibrant blue, and of course, traditional green skin. Ryan's style of painting feels almost nostalgic and I can't quite figure out why. But his warm end results are a real treat on the eyes and more than worth checking out. So make sure that you go and do exactly that, and have a look at what else Ryan has on offer for you all.
Now we've got Chris treating us all to one of those metallic skeletons from a world 38,000 years away. This paintjob is dripping in OSL work, and it looks fantastic aginst the bronze tones of the metals. I'm still yet to find geat success working with OSL, so it's a treat to see anyone pull it off. And Chris has done just that, ensuring the green glow hits all of the vital elements of the paintjob. I dig the extra touch of the skulls on the base. Go have a look at Chris' page for more of his work!

What's that? Another Chris!? Yes it is, now shut up. Our second Chris today is providing us another metallic entry, in the form of this pretty cool converted steam tank. Adding those spider-like legs to the bottom of the Steam tank has elevated it into quite the intimidating hulk, making it even more of a powerful posed sculpt. Chris' work in painting it only adds to that, with his regal choice of colours and incredibly smooth finish. The antique gold against the rich blue allow for a true visual treat. Go and have a look at Chris' work on his page for more visual treats.
And that's all we have time for this week, and really, every week. Just the small selection of four artists each week. There's a good reason for that; I don't want your eyes to pop with too much inspriational and visual stimulation. I know, I'm so very kind like that.
Want your work to cause some poor unfortunate's retinas to pop with joy? Well...go and have a good look at yourself in the mirror, freak. But then come back, and submit your work via here, plasticpreacher@gmail.com or @plasticpreacher via Instagram.
