Goretonnia by cel_miniature

It's not often you come across a project that you feel you have to share with the world (who am I kidding; that happens constantly), but this one is a project I REALLY have to share. You may know Celestin of @cel_miniature, either through following him and his incredible work, seeing his silver winning entry in Armies on Parade last year, or through his helpful contributions to this blog.

If you do, you know then that he has an incredible gritty, grim and dark style, whilst retaining the beauty of the paintjobs he creates. But not only is he a fantastic painter, he is also proficient in converting, constantly creating original pieces that make you wish you had come up with the idea. His works are a constant source of inspiration, and his latest one is no different. Given the incredible work that went into it, Celestin has also written up his own lore for the project, creating his own army book, and it all looks so beautiful, I'll never be able to see the world the same way again. So get tucked in and warm and ready your retinas; here is Goretonnia.

Please go and check out Celestin's work over @cel_miniature and be sure to tell him just how incredible this work is. If you'd like a copy of the armybook he has created for Goretonnia, just give him a shout! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this wonderful project, full of incredible conversions and paintjobs, supplemented by deliciously rich lore. Thank you Cel for constantly supplying unlimited sources of inspiration for the miniature painting community.
